Greetings
future business owners. I'm David Harding.
As the Sales Manager of TRCA, I'm always interested in
hard working Professional Sales Executives who would
like to succeed financially. We offer a generous
salary/bonus/commission/benefits program, private
offices, and a relaxed
friendly
atmosphere.
Telecommunications
background is a plus but not necessary.
TRCA is one of the
America's largest national service providers serving
over 6000 customers from within a 60,000 square foot
electronics lab. We
provide field PBX & Key system service, repair and
supply to Fortune 500, retail chains, major Telco's,
Government and State offices around the globe. A family
owned and operated business; TRCA has been an industry
leader since 1991. We deeply believe in working hard
for our customers and if you too stand out from the
rest, click on the link above and attach your resume.
You’ll be glad you did!! Here are the specifics
surrounding the sales opportunity.
At TRCA
we are a one-stop shop and a single point of contact for
our customers. We are a nationwide supplier of service,
maintenance, repair, remote access, remote monitoring
and hardware for both the Nortel and Avaya product
lines. We are unique in that the vast majority of our
services are managed in our corporate facility right
here in Denton, TX. The 24/7 365 helpdesk at TRCA has
over 150 years of combined telephony experience to serve
our customers needs.
Our sales environment and
culture
At TRCA
we have a specific management philosophy. We want you
to succeed! We believe that the person doing the job
knows more about the job than any one else. Based on
this we manage our employees through an outcome based
system. In a nutshell we tell you what we want, help
you when you ask for it and then get out of your way to
let you do it.
All
members of the TRCA sales team are given specific
outcomes to meet. Based on these outcomes the
management team acts as a coaching staff to assist the
team members in meeting their objectives.
Our
environment can be defined as a relaxed intensity. We
are all focused on our specific outcomes and the related
tasks that are associated. The initial training for
this position is paid and takes one month to complete.
After that there is a continuing group-training program
that encompasses 3 hours per week. This continued
training program focuses on product knowledge and sales
training. Individual training varies from person to
person based on need.
Good
News!
As a
salesperson acquires more maintenance agreements their
income rises in direct correlation. Hardware and
additional service sales increase based on the number of
maintenance agreements a salesperson has. Both of these
combine to create and excellent and stable standard of
living for both you and yours.
As
mentioned there is a comprehensive training program that
clearly blazes the path to success. We have a
methodology at TRCA that has been developed over the
last decade that is proven, time tested and rock solid.
In short we leave no stone unturned and new
representatives know exactly what they have to do and
how to do it.
The vast
majority of the sales made here are over the phone.
There is very little travel involved in this position.
The hours are 8-5 Monday – Friday.
The Bad News
(maybe, it depends on you)
This job
can be hard. This job is demanding. You will be
required to make hundreds and hundreds of outbound calls
per week. The bar is set high. Only those individuals
who are extremely positive, organized and efficient can
exist in this work atmosphere. You must have an ability
to multitask and pick up new concepts quickly. You must
be very computer and technology literate. Today’s
telecommunications professionals are very specific and
demanding. Every day at TRCA it serves you greatly to
bring your A game. Rejection is something that you must
be able to accept and be accustomed to.
Lastly be
aware that the world to telecommunication is in great
flux. New technologies are rampant and in order to stay
with the market TRCA changes frequently to meet market
demand. The only thing that is constant here at TRCA is
change. If you are a person who is afraid of change
then we are not the company for you.
Your first six months
Here is the
breakdown of your first six months at TRCA. Everyone
who starts out in this position begins at a salary base
pay of 10.00 per hour. The initial training is two days
long. After that the new representative will work in
lead qualification for the next 2 months at this rate.
The third month of employment the new representative
will work at the TDS helpdesk and go through extensive
sales training. The fourth month the base salary will
go up to 12.00 per hour and the new rep moves into the
sales job. The 12.00 per hour base will continue for
the fifth and sixth month. On the seventh month of
employment the new rep will be paid their 12.00 per hour
salary based on performance. The performance
requirements are very achievable. In a nutshell we hire
you, train you and prop you up for the first six months
with a base pay so you can succeed. After the first six
months everyone is on a bonus program based on
performance. The bonus for hitting your combined quotas
is 2000.00 per month. The vast majority of all reps
make their bonus consistently. This bonus equates to a
24.000 per year performance based salary. The driving
force behind the majority of reps hitting their bonus
can be tied to our extensive training, the quality of
our products and services and the way we set the bar for
quotas.
Final thoughts
The average
established representative will and does gross between
$85,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually. It historically
takes 1 to 1.5 years to reach this mid level. Top
performers push near the $200,000.00 range and beyond.
Even if you
have no previous experience in sales you can still
succeed wildly. Some of our best representatives have
come in with no experience whatsoever. All you need is
a positive spirit, love for sales, a love for reading
and learning, an intense desire to succeed and great
work ethic.
Many who have
come through our doors have told us in no uncertain
terms that this is the best job they ever had. We take
the success of those who tie their ship to ours very
seriously and look forward to growing our family.
If you are
